Privacy statement – GDPR

Data protection laws changed on Friday 23 May 2018.  I have continued to collect, use and store your email and any other data safely and securely. You can, at any time request to have your details removed from my database by emailing info@luciebradley.co.uk.

For clients, workshop participants and newsletter subscribers, I only use your data for the purpose for which it was collected. Your details will be used to continue communications between us regarding your care and services pertaining to your ongoing care.

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) is the most significant piece of privacy and data protection in twenty years. It took effect on 25th May 2018 and from that date we are required to ensure that we gain a new data protection and privacy consent from all clients. In it (amongst other things) we confirm what information we hold about you and how we are permitted to use it.

During a consultation information is collected directly from you either face-to-face in clinic (Neal’s Yard Remedies, Glasgow) or by email.  The information collected consists of name, address, date of birth, telephone numbers and email address.  Personal information regarding your reason for seeking information or support with herbal medicine is recorded, including current medical health, past medical history, family history, current medications and general health questions.

Personal data is typically held for 7 years for an adult, unless you wish to have the information deleted or transferred to another practitioner.  Your information is not shared by anyone else, organisations, or third party companies.
